All Hands In Training is a Basketball Player Development organization was founded in Indianapolis, IN and currently residing in Houston, TX. We work with amateur and pro players with a strong focus on developing overall IQ and on court game play.

Understanding how to use pump fakes to create separation into your shots is a huge fundamental to have in your game. Jalen Brunson does a great job at using to draw defenders into jumping off balance allowing him to create a little more space to get into his shot or simply draw fouls on defenders.

In today’s game you’ll notice the use of hand checking more on defense while guarding offensive players. Here are a couple options that offensive players can use to disengage the hand check during games.

Option 1:
◾️When you have an aggressive defender guarding you and you are trying to either create space or attack down hill, utilize the wrist grab to disengage.

Option 2:
◾️ You’ll utilize this option when you are down hill and you have a defender on your hip or one back peddling but still hand checking you can hook up on your drive to catch their hand and draw fouls
